It has been a busy month for me! I have gotten out of my comfort zone and walked into some Iowa boutiques which resulted in getting some orders! I'm not the salesman type so I let my products speak for themselves. If you already have candles in your shop and you're loyal to your supplier (even though out of state sometimes) then that's fine. No hard feelings. If you want to offer your customers something LOCALLY made, not from a factory, then that's me!
My birthday was 3 days ago. Birthdays should always be a time to celebrate because let's face it, it's better than the alternative. But I had to pause for a moment and reflect. My birthday this year was supposed to be the day I started my retirement from police work. Unfortunately, it was cut short a year due to my injury, so I didn't get to go out the way I wanted to. My back will never be the same but I do not regret a single day of being out there helping people!
